\nSaint Luke's South Hospital in Overland Park is hiring for an Oncology Clinic Nurse for their Oncology Clinic. This position is part of a rapidly growing program and will assist with care coordination, research studies, provide patient and family education, scheduling, triage, assist with procedures, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary innovative care team committed to innovation and improving patient outcomes. This is a high volume fast-paced Magnet designated clinic. This clinic is INCP and QOPI Certified.\n

HOURS: Monday - Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM. \n
\n
\n May be asked to float to other locations: Plaza, Overland Park, North Kansas City, Lees Summit \n

Responsibilities:\n
\n

• Phone Triage
\n
• Schedules emergent-need appointments.
\n
• Patient follow-up calls.
\n
• Patient education on particular procedures and processes.
\n
• Subject matter expert in respective specialty for hospital RNs in the units.
\n
• Regularly meets with other disciplines to share best practices on care treatments.
\n
• Care for patients with a long-term treatment process.
\n

\nBasic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate - Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation, Registered Nurse - Various\n
