Concrete Form Carpenters/Finishers

Summit Skilled Solution is seeking experienced Concrete Form Carpenters and Finishers to join a concrete crew supporting the construction of a natural gas compressor station in Littleton, WV. These positions play a key role in forming, placing, and finishing all concrete elements for the site and building infrastructure. Job runs through May 2027.

Job Scope:

Form Carpenters:

\n
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
\n
• Proficiency in concrete forming systems (e.g., Symons, wood forms, metal forms).
\n
• Install rebar, anchor bolts, and other embedded materials as needed.
\n
• Ensure forms are plumb, square, and properly aligned before pouring.
\n
• Strip forms and clean work areas after concrete sets.
\n

Concrete Finishers:

\n
• Direct and assist with the concrete pour, ensuring proper placement and consolidation.
\n
• Use hand and power tools (e.g., trowels, floats, screeds, edgers) to achieve specified finish and surface texture.
\n
• Finish concrete surfaces for:
\n
• Building floors and slabs
\n
• Equipment/well pads
\n
• Foundations and other structural elements
\n
• Apply curing compounds, sealants, and surface treatments as required.
\n

Concrete Form Carpenters and Finisher Qualifications:

\n
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized worksite.
\n
• 3+ years of experience as a concrete form carpenter and/or finisher in commercial, industrial, or energy-sector construction.
\n
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor
\n
• OSHA 10 or PEC/Safeland card (will provide training if needed)
\n
• Must have or be able to get standard PPE including Type 2 fire retardant Clothing
\n

Compensation/Benefits

\n
• Locals: Up to $35/hr
\n
• Travelers: $28/100PD (for days worked)
\n
• M-F 7am-530pm (guaranteed overtime)
\n
