Structural Welder

360X Staffing is hiring for Structural Welders in Philadelphia, PA.

Pay: $26-28/hr + $150 daily per diem for days worked

Job Description We are seeking experienced 1st Class Structural Welders for a heavy shipyard construction project. Candidates must have extensive experience with Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) and ceramic tape backing while producing high-quality structural welds in all welding positions. Successful candidates must demonstrate exceptional welding skills, pass required testing, and work safely in a fast-paced shipbuilding environment. Responsibilities

• Perform structural welding using the Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) process.
\n
• Weld structural steel in the flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
\n
• Complete full-penetration welds utilizing ceramic tape backing.
\n
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
\n
• Produce welds that meet shipyard quality standards and project specifications.
\n
• Safely operate, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain welding machines and related equipment.
\n
• Perform work in accordance with all shipyard safety policies and OSHA regulations.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• Minimum 5 years of structural welding experience, preferably in heavy shipbuilding, ship repair, or heavy industrial fabrication.
\n
• Current hands-on experience with Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW).
\n
• Current experience using ceramic tape backing.
\n
• Proven knowledge and proficiency in heavy shipyard structural welding in all welding positions.
\n
• Ability to read and interpret approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), blueprints, and weld symbols.
\n
• Strong knowledge of welding equipment, proper setup, basic troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.
\n

Working Days: Monday - Saturday

Hours: 50+/week
