Allina Health is on a transformational journey to strengthen and expand Endocrinology care across Minnesota, and we are seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Endocrinologists to join our Medicine Specialties Clinical Service Line. \n\n
\nThis is an opportunity to practice within a collaborative, system-supported endocrinology program that is focused on improving access, delivering consistent outcomes, and providing whole-person care for patients with diabetes, thyroid disease, metabolic disorders, pituitary conditions, bone health concerns, and other endocrine-related conditions. \n

With flexible FTE options, a strong referral base, and the ability to choose between a salaried or productivity-based compensation model, this role offers the support and flexibility to build a meaningful, sustainable practice.

\nEstablished Endocrinology Program
\nJoin a team of 15 endocrinology providers within the Medicine Specialties Clinical Service Line, offering collegiality, shared expertise, and specialty collaboration.
\nCollaborative Specialty Support
\nWork closely with two endocrine surgeons, primary care physicians, specialty colleagues, and multidisciplinary care teams to support coordinated patient care.
\nCME and Case Collaboration
\nParticipate in a monthly thyroid and pituitary conference with CME, supporting ongoing learning, collaboration, and complex case discussion.
\nComprehensive Diagnostic and Clinical Resources
\nAccess resources including bone densitometry, on-site medical imaging, coding education support, triage/refill nurse programs, and an after-hours answering service.
\nFlexible Practice Options
\nFlexible FTE options are available, along with the ability to choose between a salaried compensation model or a productivity-based compensation model.

\nPrinciple Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Reviews patient's medical history while collecting, prioritizing, and synthesizing comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. \n
- Evaluates, interprets, and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care. \n
- Provides education, consultation or intervention to patients (treatment plan) and their families. \n
- Manages disorders of the internal (endocrine) glands, and disorders such as diabetes, metabolic and nutritional disorders, pituitary diseases, and menstrual and sexual problems. \n
- Works collaboratively with patients to improve their health and well-being. \n
- Practices in a thoughtful manner including consideration for cultural diversity, individual autonomy and legal responsibilities. \n
- Charts in electronic format in accordance with licensure and scope. \n
- Actively participates in multidisciplinary team approach to case management. \n
- May provide care in an ambulatory clinic, inpatient or outpatient hospital setting. \n
- May participate in on-call rotation. \n
- Utilizes quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in delivery of patient care, patient outcomes, or work flows. \n
- May participate in peer review and quality assurance. \n
- Other duties as assigned. \n
Job Requirements

- Licensed Physician - MN Board of Medical Practice required upon hire and \n
- BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required within 180 Days \n
- PALS - Pediatric Advance Life Support - Multisource required depending on business unit upon hire and \n
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation - Multisource required depending on business unit upon hire \n
- Licensed Physician - WI upon hire required and \n
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility from the American Board of Internal Medicine with a certificate of special qualification in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism upon hire required and \n
- Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate upon hire required and \n
- Prescription Monitoring Program upon hire required and \n
- National Provider Identifier upon hire required \n
Physical Demands

Pay Range
\nPay Range: $280,000 to $330,000 per year\nThe pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).\n\n\nBenefit Summary
