Position Overview
\n Driscoll Health System is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to join our growing program at Driscoll Childrens Hospital Rio Grande Valley, located in Edinburg, Texas. This is a unique opportunity to serve an underserved population while advancing pediatric care in South Texas.

Position Highlights:

• Join a robust and expanding division serving children and young adults with a full spectrum of hematologic and oncologic conditions
\n
• Active member of the Childrens Oncology Group (COG), with 5060 new oncology cases annually
\n
• Multidisciplinary support team including:\n
  \n
  • Clinical Research Associates (CRAs)
  \n
  • Pharmacist (Pharm.D.)
  \n
  • Case Manager
  \n
  • Registered Dietitian
  \n
  • Social Workers
  \n
  • Child Life Specialist
  \n
  • Chaplain
  \n
\n
• Clinical role includes inpatient and outpatient care, participation in tumor boards and COG research initiatives
\n
• Teaching opportunities available
\n
• No in-house call required
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
\n
• Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Texas
\n
• Passion for clinical care and service to medically underserved populations
\n
