  • Schedule: Monday Sunday, 8:00 am 8:00 pm (rotating shifts)

Requirements

\n
    \n
  • Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • \n
  • 3+ years experience in an urgent care setting
  • \n
  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Certification
  • \n
  • Master's Degree
  • \n
  • State of Michigan License and DEA
  • \n
  • ACLS and BLS Certification
  • \n

Duties & Responsibilities

\n

A typical day may include:

\n
    \n
  • Evaluating and treating both pediatric and adult patients with acute, non-emergent conditions
  • \n
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as X-rays and lab work
  • \n
  • Performing minor procedures such as wound care and splinting
  • \n
  • Conducting physical exams and immunizations
  • \n
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • \n
  • Utilizing EMR systems for accurate documentation and efficient workflow
  • \n
