St. Bernards Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiologist with Fellowship Training in Advanced Heart Failure to join and help lead our expanding cardiovascular program in Jonesboro, Arkansas. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape and grow advanced heart failure services within a technologically advanced, physician-led health system.

Opportunity Highlights

  • Fellowship-trained in Advanced Heart Failure
    \n • Lead heart failure readmission reduction initiatives at St. Bernards Medical Center
    \n • Balanced inpatient and outpatient practice
    \n • Guide inpatient care of advanced heart failure patients
    \n • Participate in the Heart Failure and SHOCK inpatient response teams
    \n • Active participation on the LVAD Committee
    \n • LVAD workup and longitudinal management
    \n • Advanced HF patient evaluations and therapy optimization
    \n • Oversight of APRN-led outpatient CHF clinics
    \n • Participate in heart failure research initiatives
    \n • Assist with ICU management of complex cardiac patients

Clinical Scope (Based on Interest & Expertise)

  • Interpret echocardiography and cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET)
    \n • Read Cardiac MRI (negotiable)
    \n • Perform right and left heart catheterizations, if desired
    \n • Manage advanced therapies including guideline-directed medical therapy optimization
