We are on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med Peds Physician - Extended Hours to become part of our Primary Care team located in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Opportunity Details

  • Schedule: Tuesday to Thursday from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
  • Specialty: Primary Care
  • Call Requirements: One weeknight per month and one weekend day (either Saturday or Sunday) once every quarter.

Requirements

  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med Peds
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic abilities to deliver high-quality primary care
  • Dedication to patient-centered care and the capacity to foster enduring relationships with patients and their families
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to team-based care
  • Desire to work in a community-oriented practice and contribute positively to workplace culture
  • Willingness to accommodate early morning, evening, and rotating weekend shifts to enhance patient access
  • Experience in outpatient primary care is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may involve:

  • Delivering comprehensive primary care services to patients across all age groups
  • Managing chronic illnesses and formulating personalized treatment plans
  • Conducting preventative care, wellness visits, and routine screenings
  • Collaborating with nurse practitioners, specialists, and care teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and clinic operations
  • Staying informed about evidence-based medical practices and advancements in primary care
  • Engaging in community outreach and health education initiatives as needed
