The Program Director will be responsible for:
- Contributing to the development of our educational curriculum and maintaining didactic sessions.
- Serving as a mentor and role model for OB/GYN residents.
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as resident recruitment and participation in clinical competency and program evaluation committees.
- Leading quality improvement initiatives and engaging in research and scholarly activities.
- Must hold board certification from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Must possess an active Kentucky medical license or be eligible to obtain one before starting.
- Minimum of three years of documented educational and/or administrative experience as a faculty member in an ACGME-accredited OB-GYN residency program.
- Willingness to balance administrative, teaching, and clinical duties (the role involves a 50/50 split between administrative and clinical responsibilities).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
