Job Overview and Qualifications

In the role of Registered Nurse, you will be tasked with providing high-quality, patient-focused care in accordance with departmental requirements and the standards of practice relevant to your specialty and state. You will collaborate with healthcare providers and the care team to deliver personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, adhering to established nursing models such as ‘Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.’ Additionally, you will advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying our organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure an exceptional patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the patient’s condition upon admission and during each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in their status.
  • Carry out procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care in the patient’s medical record.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic responses, and take appropriate actions in case of any adverse reactions.
  • Deliver outstanding care by responding swiftly to patient requests, proactively anticipating their needs, and addressing them effectively.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, treatment plan, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring clarity by simplifying complex medical terminology.
Qualifications Required:

  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
