Job Summary

\n - Assesses the patient's condition
\n - Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures
\n - Assists physicians with procedures
\n - Assists in the maintenance of patient ultrasound exam information.
\n - Assists in maintaining the unit in working order
\n
Qualifications: \n
Education
\n
\n - Associates degree in Ultrasound or equivalent as defined by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
\n
\n
Experience
\n
\n - None. One year of experience preferred.
\n
\n
Licensure/Certification
\n
\n - American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registered or registry eligible. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment
