General Dentist (Pediatric Experience Preferred)
2–3 Days per Week
Location: Santa Fe, NM

On behalf of our client, R.S.M.C. Services is seeking a passionate and patient-focused General Dentist with pediatric experience to join a well-established practice in beautiful Santa Fe, NM. This opportunity is available as Locum or Permanent, with strong clinical support, mentorship, and competitive compensation.

Compensation

    $1,100/day or up to 30% of production (whichever is higher)

Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • \n

    Help children and parents develop excellent oral health habits

    • \n
  • \n

    Lead and collaborate with an engaged dental care team

    • \n
  • \n

    Diagnose conditions and develop comprehensive treatment plans

    • \n
  • \n

    Provide high-quality pediatric-focused dental care

    • \n
  • \n

    Coordinate referrals to dental specialists as needed

    • \n
  • \n

    Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centered clinical environment

    • \n
  • \n

    Comply with all state, federal, and regulatory requirements

    • \n
\n

Requirements

  • \n

    Active dental license issued by the State Board of Dental Examiners

    • \n
  • \n

    Board eligibility or certification with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (preferred)

    • \n
  • \n

    Experience and passion for treating pediatric patients

    • \n
  • \n

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    • \n
  • \n

    Desire for professional growth and continuous learning

    • \n
  • \n

    Excellent organizational skills

    • \n
  • \n

    Solid clinical knowledge of general dentistry

    • \n
\n

Typical Day

\n
    \n
  • \n

    Approximately 12 operative patients, including:

    \n
      \n
    • \n

      SSCs, NuSmile anterior crowns, composite restorations

      • \n
    • \n

      Space maintainers, extractions

      • \n
    • \n

      Protective stabilization, Nitrous Oxide administration

      • \n
    • \n

      Emergency visits and sedation dentistry (primarily NO, OCS, behavior management, with potential for limited GA days)

      • \n
    • \n
  • \n

    Approximately 25 hygiene exams

    • \n
  • \n

    Foster a supportive learning environment for doctors, patients, and dental professionals

    • \n
\n
