Appalachian Regional Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician to join our growing specialty team in Hazard, Kentucky. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide advanced pulmonary and critical care services in a medically underserved region, supported by a collaborative, integrated health system committed to improving patient outcomes across Central Appalachia.
\nYou will provide comprehensive pulmonary care, including inpatient critical care management and outpatient pulmonary consultation, within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

\nKey Responsibilities
\n-Diagnose and manage a broad range of pulmonary diseases and critically ill patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
\n-Lead ICU patient management with collaboration across specialties
\n-Perform procedures such as bronchoscopy and pulmonary function testing
\n-Collaborate with hospitalists, primary care providers, and specialty teams to ensure coordinated patient care
\n-Participate in quality improvement initiatives and education programs
\n-Maintain a predictable weekday clinical schedule
