Join SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC)- a distinguished non-profit health consortium dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare services to the residents of beautiful Southeast Alaska. We are seeking a compassionate, full?time Family Medicine with Obstetrics Physician to join an established and collegial primary care team at the Mt. Edgecumbe Medical Center. This position offers a rewarding mix of outpatient and inpatient pediatrics, including hospital call responsibilities for newborn delivery attendance, newborn care, and pediatric admissionsallowing physicians to practice full?spectrum while making a meaningful impact in the community.

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation salary: $263,764 -$293,071 based on years of experience, with additional productivity bonus based on wRVUs, and quality incentives.

Schedule and Work-Life Balance

Workweek: MondayFriday, 8:00 a.m.5:00 p.m., with telemedicine included and four hours of administrative time.

Call Schedule: Once monthly, 7-day block, participates in shared non-surgical obstetrics call rotation with 24/7 surgical obstetrics backup and 24/7 anesthesia coverage.

Generous Time Off: 33 days (264 hours) annually, including holidays, and 10 days of CME.

Practice Details:

Clinic facilities: 16 exam spaces with two procedure rooms. One medical assistant per physician, dedicated OB/Primary Care nurse case manager, nurse triage, and nutritionist. Ancillary services include Mammogram, CT, DEXA, Ultrasound including ECHO, X?ray, laboratory services, and MRI.

Patient Volume: 12-18 pediatric patients per day in clinic, plus 4 hours of administrative time weekly. Occasional long-term care and home visits. EMR and tools include Meditech, Dragon Dictation, and DAX AI assisted documentation.

Procedure opportunities: Womens health, prenatal, vasectomies, colposcopies, circumcisions, wound care, draining abscesses, and cyst removal.

Hospital Capabilities: Mt. Edgecumbe Medical Center, prioritized patient preferences and personalized birth plan. Offering a holistic approach with relaxation items and techniques to help increase your patients comfort during your stay. We have 24/7 on-call coverage for anesthesia and cesarean delivery (C-section).

Qualifications:

MD or DO with active/unrestricted Alaska medical license or ability to obtain license.

Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine.
\n - \n
Unrestricted DEA.
\n - \n
Required: BLS, ACLS, ALSO, NRP.

Preferred: PALS, STABLE.
\n
