- The inpatient rehabilitation unit at Advocate Christ Medical Center is a specialized facility where you will spend approximately 75% of your time; this 37 bed unit has an average daily census of 10-12 patients \n
- Outpatient census is averaging between 8 and 12 patients \n
- Staffing includes a robust team with skilled Social Workers and Case Managers, Registered Nurses, rehabilitation technicians, and a full spectrum of therapy professionals \n
- Physicians in this unit will practice the full scope of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), working closely with specialists and other team members \n
- Procedures will include botulinum toxin injections, joint injections, and EMGs \n
- The patient population served is notably diverse, with 35% stroke, brain and spinal cord injury, cardiac/complex medical, complicated joint replacement, some cancer, and other conditions such as trauma, fractures, lower extremity amputations, and general debility \n
- Weekend and holiday call rotation 1:4. \n
- May be considered for a leadership role if interested and qualified \n
- EPIC EMR \n
- Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line \n
- Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature \n
- Experience an environment that provides safe and equitable care for all patients \n

- Completion of an Accredited PM&R Residency Program \n
