COMMERCIAL HVAC MECHANICAL PROJECT MANAGER -- DIRECT HIRE

We're looking for a Commercial HVAC Mechanical Project Manager who knows how to run the money and paperwork side of commercial mechanical jobs and let the field do what the field does best. You'll run point on budgets, forecasting, cost control, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and scheduling. Your counterpart—the General Superintendent—runs the crews and manpower. Equal footing. You two keep each other honest and get the job done right.

What the job is:

\n
• Own the financials: budgeting, forecasting, cost control
\n
• Work hand-in-hand with the General Super on labor and manpower planning
\n
• Keep clients, GCs, engineers, and internal teams on the same page
\n
• Handle submittals, RFIs, change orders, and documentation
\n
• Stay ahead of schedule problems before they blow up
\n
• Keep everything compliant with specs, safety, and company policy
\n
• Back up procurement on equipment and materials
\n
• Show up to the meetings, hold the client relationships together
\n

What you need:

\n
• 5+ years running commercial HVAC projects—air and water side
\n
• Know your ductwork, AHUs, VAVs, chilled/hot water piping, pumps, and coils cold
\n
• Can run a budget, a schedule, and a paper trail
\n
• Can read mechanical drawings and specs
\n
• Know your way around Microsoft Project or Procore, Bluebeam Revu, and Excel
\n
• OSHA 30 a plus
\n
