HVAC Mechanic I

Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time HVAC Mechanic I in Port Hueneme, CA.

Job Summary: This position is required to develop, aggregate, and disseminate technical information.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC systems and equipment.
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain and perform work on air handling units, ductwork, vents, and condensation drainage lines.
• Accurately track repairs and completed work.
• Ensure that the work performed is aligned with industry standards.
• Communicate issues in a non-technical manner to clients.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years’ experience servicing and repairing environmental-control systems in residences, department stores, office buildings, and other commercial establishments.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written formats.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A certificate or associate's degree in HVAC

ADA Notations:

• Requires walking, reaching, sitting, and concentration in the presence of occasional noise
• The job may require bending, stooping, and lifting, and will be in an environment of low and high temperatures.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 25 lbs. in weight.
• Ability to travel up and down stairs and ladders.
