Position Summary: We are hiring an experienced Industrial Millwright to join our maintenance team at a fast-paced, vertically integrated metal manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in precision alignment, mechanical assembly, and equipment maintenance within a heavy industrial or foundry environment. You will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of mechanical equipment across our casting, machining, and finishing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Install, align, and maintain production machinery including conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, furnaces, casting equipment, and CNC machines
· Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical components, including bearings, shafts, belts, couplings, and hydraulics
· Use precision tools (e.g., dial indicators, laser alignment systems, micrometers) to ensure proper alignment and tolerances
· Assist with machinery moves, rigging, structural repairs, and custom fabrication as needed
· Troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly to reduce downtime and ensure production continuity
· Collaborate with electricians and controls technicians on integrated mechanical/electrical systems
· Maintain accurate maintenance records in CMMS and follow all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
Qualifications:
· 3–5 years of millwright or mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial facility (metal manufacturing/foundry preferred)
· Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulic/pneumatic equipment, and rigging procedures
· Experience working with cranes, hoists, forklifts, and industrial power tools
· Ability to read mechanical blueprints, assembly drawings, and technical documentation
· Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
· High school diploma or GED required; formal technical training or certification preferred
· Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights or in confined spaces, and work overtime or on-call shifts as required
Preferred Certifications (Not Required):
· NCCER or Millwright Trade Certification
· OSHA 10/30 Certification
· Forklift and Aerial Lift Certification
· Welding (MIG/TIG/Stick) credentials
