Job Opportunity: Cardiac Anesthesiologist

We are excited to announce a full-time position for a Fellowship-trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our team in Mason City, Iowa.

About the Role

Our anesthesia group, comprised of Anesthesiologists and CRNAs, provides comprehensive anesthesia services for our progressive medical center and an adjacent Ambulatory Surgery Center. Responsibilities include:

• Administering anesthesia for a variety of cases, including Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Orthopedic, Pediatric, and Obstetric surgeries.
• Providing oversight and support to CRNAs.
• Participating in a call rotation, covering Cardiac surgeries Monday through Thursday.
• Handling general weekend call six times a year and one holiday annually.
• Receiving call pay for Cardiac anesthesia procedures performed during on-call hours.
• Managing general cases if no Cardiac surgeries are scheduled during the week.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess:

• A Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship or TEE certification.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a highly competitive recruitment package, which includes:

• A guaranteed income of $700,000 for the first year.
• A bonus package totaling $100,000.
• A relocation allowance of up to $15,000.
• An annual CME allowance of $6,000.
