\nMaintenance Journeyman NCCER Certified (No Per Diem) Long Term
\nWork Hours Mon - Fri 7:00AM - 3:30PM
\nMust pass pre-employment physical and background
\nMust be NCCER Certified as a Maintenance Journeyman
\nMaintenance Journeyman
\nGeneral Description
\n\n
- Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, and precision instruments, as well as power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, lathes, hammers, welding equipment, micrometers and laser alignment tools.
\n- Perform routine preventative maintenance such as checking and changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
\n- Examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices.
\n- Welds broken equipment, parts, pipe and structural steel.
\n- Attach test instruments to equipment, and read dials and gauges to diagnose malfunctions.
\n- Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test instruments such as handheld computers, motor analyzers, chassis charts, and pressure gauges.
\n- Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery such as pumps, gearboxes, compressors, valves, and piping that is associated with it.
\n- Responsible for changing and installing new equipment such as pumps, gearboxes and valves.
\n- Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Performs other duties as required.

\nFollow established job-site safety and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work area. Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards.
\nRead and understand equipment schematic drawings along with associated plans and specifications.
\nProduce quality work, meeting requirements of plans, specifications and industry standards.
\nMonitor work progression to ensure compliance to codes & standards.
\nPerform all other job-related duties as requested by supervisor.
\nSkills/Qualifications:
\nHigh School Diploma or GED

\nAbility to perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, reach with arms, acsend/descend stairs, ladders, fixed ladders, walkways, walk, stand, stoop for long periods of time, enter tight congested areas to include awkard positions, sit, climb, balance, and be able to lift 50 lbs. single person 80 lbs. two persons.
\nAbility to work extended hours in addition to normal shift in all weather and temperature extremes.
\nVision adequate to perform all required tasks.
\nAbility to work over 6 feet above the ground; must not be afraid of heights.
\nWork Environment:

Work Schedule

The work schedule is 5/8-hour days. Note: At times, additional work hours & schedules will exist at the request of the client to meet specific work schedules support Maintenance, Capital, and Production work activities. Scheduled and unscheduled outages may require long hours.
