ELECTRICAL APPRENTICE

Brief description of work required:Key Responsibilities

* Assist with the installation of electrical wiring, conduit, panels, switchgear, lighting, and control systems under the supervision of a Journeyman Electrician.
\n * Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
\n * Assist with troubleshooting electrical issues and performing repairs.
\n * Use electrical testing equipment and meters under supervision to verify installations and identify problems.
\n * Learn and follow the requirements of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
\n * Assist with preventive maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
\n * Help install and connect motors, transformers, generators, and other electrical devices.
\n * Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress as directed.
\n * Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.
\n * Follow all workplace safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

\n * Ability to learn conduit bending and installation techniques.

Physical Requirements

* Ability to lift and carry 50 LBS.
\n * Ability to work on ladders, scaffolds, and elevated platforms.
\n * Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and work in confined spaces.
\n * Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
