\nFairview is seeking a Neonatologist to join our growing team in Minnesota. In this role, you will provide high-quality, collaborative care to newborns requiring specialized neonatal services while working in a supportive team environment alongside an established group of physicians.

- Site/Location: M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital \n
- Call Responsibility: Home call \n
- As a Pioneer Accountable Care Organization (ACO), our physicians use a multidisplinary team approach in managing clinical care. \n
- Full integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC). \n
Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Provide comprehensive care to newborns and premature infants \n
- Evaluate the physical and mental development of newborns \n
- Perform assessments of infants health, including ordering and interpreting lab and imaging tests \n
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans \n
- Advise parents on infant care and nutrition \n
- Attend deliveries and provide emergency care for newborns \n
- Collaborate with other healthcare team to ensure the best possible care for the newborn \n
- Maintains the electronic medical record in accordance with Fairview standards and in accordance with licensure and scope \n
- Recognizes and appropriately responds to medical emergencies \n
- Serves as a patient advocate by maintaining patient confidentiality, protecting patient rights, communicating in a timely manner and resolving concerns or complaints regarding care and service \n
Required Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Medical Doctorate degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) or foreign equivalent from an accredited school of medicine. \n
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME training program in neonatology \n
- Sub-specialty certification from ABP in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine \n
- Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota board of Medical Practice Licensure Currently board certification in Neonatal- Perinatal Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics or an equivalent board of the RCPSC or eligible examination for certification. Current NRP certification \n
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of MN \n
- Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges \n
$337,663-$375,181 Annual *based on full time (1.0 FTE)
