Gibbs Cancer Center & Research Institute, part of Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our well established, collaborative Hematology/Oncology team in Upstate South Carolina. This is an outstanding opportunity to practice high-quality, patient-centered oncology care within a nationally recognized cancer program.

Practice Overview

\n

*Primary location: Spartanburg, SC with three outreach clinics across our service area

\n

* Collaborative team of 8 physicians and 9 advanced practice providers

\n

* Strong support staff and integrated care model

\n

* Epic EMR across the system

\n

* Participation in multidisciplinary clinics and tumor boards

\n

Position Highlights

\n

* Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule

\n

* Rotating call: (weekday and weekend)

\n

* Mix of clinic-based care with inpatient support as applicable

\n

* Opportunity to work across hematology and solid tumor oncology populations

\n

* Highly collaborative, team-based environment focused on quality and patient outcomes

\n

Candidate Qualifications

\n

* Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

\n

* Oncology experience strongly preferred

\n

* 2-3 years of APP experience preferred

\n

* New graduates may be considered with prior oncology training or not

\n
