Radiation Oncology Registered Nurse – Outpatient (Greenwich, CT)
\nWe’re seeking an experienced Radiation Oncology RN to join our outpatient cancer care team in Greenwich, Connecticut.
\nThis is a Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. schedule (no weekends or holidays).

What You’ll Do:

Deliver expert, evidence-based nursing care to adult and geriatric oncology patients.
\n - \n
Coordinate and implement patient care plans, including assessments, interventions, and evaluations.
\n - \n
Support continuity of care through clear and timely communication with multidisciplinary teams.
\n - \n
Educate patients and families about treatments, side effects, and community resources.
\n - \n
Administer medications safely, including emergency medications for CT simulations.
\n - \n
Ensure compliance with nursing standards, universal precautions, and hospital policies.
\n - \n
Provide compassionate support to patients with complex or terminal conditions.
\n - \n
Uphold professional nursing ethics and act as a role model for colleagues.

Qualifications:

Valid Connecticut RN license
\n - \n
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
\n - \n
Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) preferred; required within 24 months of hire
\n - \n
Current BLS certification
\n - \n
Extensive knowledge in oncology nursing with excellent critical thinking and interpersonal skills
