Quick Facts Location: 2701 North Decatur Road, Decatur, GA 30033 Start Date: 08/05/2026 End Date/Duration: 12/31/2026 Shift: M-F, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (rotating weekends possible) Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Contract Licenses/Certifications: Valid Nurse Practitioner license (U.S.) required Experience: Prior surgical experience preferred but not mandatory Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00/hour Benefits: Competitive pay package Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time, licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements as applicable What You’ll Do Assist in surgical procedures primarily in general surgery; support orthopedics, Ob/Gyn, urology, and ENT cases as needed Collaborate with surgeons, scrub techs, circulating RNs, and CRNAs during surgeries Provide perioperative patient assessments and support Assist in maintaining surgical records and documentation Support patient care before and after procedures Ensure compliance with safety and clinical protocols What You Need Required: Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the U.S. Experience in surgical or acute care settings is preferred Strong teamwork and communication skills Preferred: Prior experience in general surgery or related specialties Ability to adapt to a fast-paced surgical environment About the Assignment Join a leading healthcare facility in Decatur, GA, providing support in the surgery department for a short-term contract. The team performs approximately 90-110 scheduled, non-urgent cases weekly. The role involves assisting in various surgical specialties, ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient care.
