We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in St. Petersburg, Florida. Responsibilities:\n

- Assist OTs in implementing individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings. \n
- Provide therapeutic exercises and ADL training to restore function and improve independence. \n
- Support patients with mobility, coordination, and fine motor skill development utilizing adaptive equipment as needed. \n
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, home programs, and adaptive strategies. \n
- Monitor and document patient progress, communicate updates to the supervising OT, and maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. \n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including OTs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care. \n
- Maintain compliance with ethical, legal, and facility policies related to patient care and documentation. \n
Qualifications:\n
- \n
- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from a CAPTE-accredited program. \n
- Current NBCOT certification and active Florida OTA license. \n
- CPR certification (preferred). \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. \n
- Previous clinical experience preferred but not required. \n
Work Environment:\n

- Full-time position with consistent, predictable scheduling (40 hours per week). \n
- Potential work settings include hospitals, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, or home health. \n
