Sentara Health is hiring a Clinical Dietitian at the Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center.\n
\n
This position may support other Pritikin ICR sites including Sentara Careplex and Sentara Obici. \n
\n
This is a Full-Time, Day shift opportunity with great benefits!!!\n

\nThe
Clinical Dietitian is responsible for managing patients' medical nutrition therapy in accordance with the medical staff-approved clinical practice standards in the outpatient setting.\n
\n
\n Responsible for the assessment and nutritional management of acute and chronic disease in the outpatient setting. \n
\n
\nMay s erve as a Sentara representative for health fairs, media outreach, and community presentations. \n
\n
\n Communicates and collaborates with providers and other members of the healthcare team for referrals, clinical diagnostic data, weekly rounds and any other patient care meetings as needed. \n
\n
Qualifications\n
\n
\n - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) - Other/National
\n - Registered Dietician (RD) - Other/National
\n - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Other/National
\n
\n
\n
\nIf Bachelor's Degree is in major other than Dietetics, must complete an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics.\n
\n
\nIf not Reg Dietitian or RDN at hire, must obtain within 9 months.\n
\n
\n BLS required within 90 days of hire\n
\n
