Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Conveyor Mechanics, preferably with some AutoStore system experience for a project in Brooklyn Park, MN starting mon 3/2. This is a smaller project to start; however, strong performance will lead to immediate placement on a follow-up project in Ohio and continued long-term work with a client that has a strong pipeline of conveyor and automation projects.

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Install, assemble, and mechanically integrate AutoStore systems
\n
• Perform conveyor installation, alignment, and mechanical adjustments
\n
• Install and replace rollers, belts, motors, gearboxes, and drive components
\n
• Perform mechanical troubleshooting and system adjustments during startup
\n
• Assist with commissioning and system testing
\n
• Read and interpret layout drawings, schematics, and installation plans
\n
• Work safely in active warehouse and distribution environments
\n
• Coordinate with electrical and controls teams as needed
\n
• Maintain jobsite cleanliness and adhere to safety standards
\n

Required Qualifications

\n
• 5+ years as a Conveyor Mechanic
\n
• Direct experience working on AutoStore systems (preferred)
\n
• Strong mechanical aptitude
\n
• Ability to read blueprints and layout drawings
\n
• Experience with material handling systems in warehouse/distribution environments
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n
• Willingness to travel between projects
\n
• Reliable transportation to travel to MN and potential OH project
\n

Compensation & Travel

\n
• Pay Rate: $30/hour
\n
• Per Diem: $100/day (paid all 7 days per week)
\n
• Travel Pay:\n

  • Up to 10 hours straight time for initial travel

  • Straight-time pay for all travel between projects
  \n
