Project Type: Short-Term Project (2-3 weeks) with Long-Term Opportunity
Position Overview
\nWe are seeking experienced Conveyor Mechanics, preferably with some AutoStore system experience for a project in Brooklyn Park, MN starting mon 3/2. This is a smaller project to start; however, strong performance will lead to immediate placement on a follow-up project in Ohio and continued long-term work with a client that has a strong pipeline of conveyor and automation projects.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for mechanics who want consistent work with growth potential.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Install, assemble, and mechanically integrate AutoStore systems \n
- Perform conveyor installation, alignment, and mechanical adjustments \n
- Install and replace rollers, belts, motors, gearboxes, and drive components \n
- Perform mechanical troubleshooting and system adjustments during startup \n
- Assist with commissioning and system testing \n
- Read and interpret layout drawings, schematics, and installation plans \n
- Work safely in active warehouse and distribution environments \n
- Coordinate with electrical and controls teams as needed \n
- Maintain jobsite cleanliness and adhere to safety standards \n
Required Qualifications
\n- \n
- 5+ years as a Conveyor Mechanic \n
- Direct experience working on AutoStore systems (preferred) \n
- Strong mechanical aptitude \n
- Ability to read blueprints and layout drawings \n
- Experience with material handling systems in warehouse/distribution environments \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team \n
- Willingness to travel between projects \n
- Reliable transportation to travel to MN and potential OH project \n
Compensation & Travel

- Pay Rate: $30/hour \n
- Per Diem: $100/day (paid all 7 days per week) \n

- Up to 10 hours straight time for initial travel \n
- Straight-time pay for all travel between projects \n
