Radiology Tech

The role involves delivering a range of radiographic services, which includes positioning patients before conducting radiographic exposures and managing all radiographic equipment effectively.

• Patient Age Range: All age groups are served.
• Educational Requirement: A High School Diploma or GED is essential.
• Essential Skills:
  • Understanding of radiographic procedures and practices.
• Licensure and Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Florida State License as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) is required.
  • Alternatively, candidates must present proof of program completion and a temporary Florida State Radiologic Technologist license upon hiring.
  • Passing the ARRT Certification exam and obtaining the Florida State Radiologic Technologist license within 30 days of hire or transfer is mandatory.
• Experience Requirement: Less than one year of experience in radiology along with formal training is required.
