The Pediatrics Residency of Idaho (PRI) is seeking a full-time Pediatrics Faculty Physician who is passionate about expanding access to pediatric primary care while helping train the next generation of pediatricians.

This position is available immediately and offers the opportunity to combine clinical care, resident education, community engagement and physician leadership in beautiful Boise, Idaho.

Work Schedule

\n

The faculty schedule includes:

\n
    \n
  • Outpatient clinic
  • \n
  • Resident precepting
  • \n
  • Administrative time
  • \n
  • Occasional weekday newborn nursery rounding
  • \n
\n

Weekend call consists only of newborn nursery rounding and coverage, with an expectation of approximately eight Saturdays or Sundays per year.

\n

There is no regular overnight call. Faculty members may occasionally provide telephone coverage for clinic patient questions, averaging approximately four calls per month.

\n

Qualifications

\n

Education

\n
    \n
  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
  • \n
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics
  • \n
\n

Experience

\n

Previous outpatient or primary care clinical experience is preferred.

\n

Graduate medical education experience is also preferred, although other relevant clinical patient care and teaching experience may be considered.

\n

Licensure and Certification

\n

Full Circle Health medical team members must:

\n
    \n
  • Be eligible to become fully credentialed, licensed and privileged
  • \n
  • Hold an unrestricted and unconditional license to practice under the laws of the State of Idaho
  • \n
  • Maintain board certification through the American Board of Pediatrics or the American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics
  • \n
  • Possess an unrestricted Board of Pharmacy registration
  • \n
  • Possess an unrestricted DEA registration
  • \n
  • Maintain all necessary federal narcotics and controlled-substance numbers and licenses
  • \n
  • Maintain eligibility to participate in Medicare, Medicaid and all other third-party payment programs that contract with Full Circle Health
  • \n

Additional Employment Requirements

Staff members are required to maintain appropriate immunizations, including an annual influenza vaccine, as a condition of employment.
