Our organization is in search of a full-scope OB/GYN Hospitalist to become a part of our expanding women's health team on the picturesque Eastern Shore of Maryland. This role presents a unique chance to engage in comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology within a collaborative hospital setting, while also contributing to the education of future physicians through our ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency program. This position is particularly suited for those who favor inpatient care, enjoy structured schedules, and have an interest in academic involvement.

Position Highlights

• Full-scope OB/GYN hospitalist position
• Options for 12 or 24-hour shifts
• Oversee labor and delivery, manage obstetric emergencies, and provide gynecologic care
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of physicians, midwives, and nursing staff
• Involvement in teaching OB/GYN residents as part of our ACGME-accredited program

CompensationWeekday Day Shift (12 hours)

• $193.33/hour
• $2,320 per shift

Weekday Night Shift (12 hours)

• $232/hour
• $2,784 per shift

Weekend & Holiday Day Shift (12 hours)

• $212.66/hour
• $2,552 per shift

Weekend Night & Holiday Shift (12 hours)

• $250/hour
• $3,000 per shift

Responsibilities

• Deliver inpatient OB/GYN coverage
• Manage patients in labor and delivery
• Address obstetric emergencies and perform triage
• Conduct cesarean sections and gynecologic procedures
• Work in partnership with community OB/GYN physicians and midwives
• Teach and oversee OB/GYN residents during clinical practice (mandatory)
• Engage in a collaborative approach to patient care and education

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Eligible for a medical license in Maryland
• Interest in academic medicine and resident training
• Dedication to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
