The Opportunity
\n
\n - Seeking Board Eligible/Certified Internal Medicine physicians.
\n - Current CA state license is a plus.
\n
\n

The Practice

Santa Clara Valley Medical Center – San Jose, California
\n
\n - Level I Trauma Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and Stroke Center.
\n - 731-bed county hospital with a medical ICU and surgical ICU.
\n - Annual ED volume of almost 64,000 with 10,000 surgical cases per year.
\n - All sub-specialty backup available.
\n - 15-17 admits per day per hospitalist; 6-8 admits per night per nocturnist.
\n - 24/7 in-house intensivist; on-site labs and imaging
\n - All three hospitals in the system (including O’Connor Hospital and Saint Louise Regional Hospital) are the safety net for the people in the region.

Estimated annual base compensation of $275,000 – $900,000, depending on site, specialty, clinical volume, schedule, and experience. Compensation for part-time and per diem roles is prorated based on clinical hours worked. In addition, Vituity physicians participate in our partnership model from day one, which includes profit distributions, equity ownership, and K-1 tax advantages. Total compensation including partnership income varies by site and may significantly exceed the range shown.
