The Work You'll Be Doing

\n

In this role, you will:

\n
    \n
  • Program, set up, operate, and maintain CNC machining equipment with minimal supervision
  • \n
  • Produce precision components while holding tolerances as tight as ±0.0001"
  • \n
  • Review drawings, machining requirements, and manufacturing specifications
  • \n
  • Select tooling, workholding, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies for complex parts
  • \n
  • Perform first-article and in-process inspections to verify quality requirements
  • \n
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency
  • \n
  • Support prototype, R&D, and low-volume manufacturing projects
  • \n
  • Work independently and collaboratively with engineers, technicians, and other manufacturing personnel
  • \n
  • Maintain a strong safety-first mindset while supporting a safe shop environment
  • \n
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less-experienced machinists as needed
  • \n

What We're Looking ForRequired

  • 10+ years of machining experience, trade school training, or a combination of both
  • \n
  • Ability to independently program, set up, and operate CNC equipment
  • \n
  • Experience producing precision components to extremely tight tolerances
  • \n
  • Strong blueprint reading and machining fundamentals
  • \n
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • \n
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • \n
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • \n
  • Valid driver's license
  • \n
  • Ability to pass applicable physical requirements
  • \n
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • \n

  • Experience with CamWorks programming software
  • \n
  • Aerospace, defense, R&D, or prototype manufacturing experience

  • Multi-axis machining experience
