\nThe Work You'll Be Doing
\nIn this role, you will:
\n- \n
- Program, set up, operate, and maintain CNC machining equipment with minimal supervision \n
- Produce precision components while holding tolerances as tight as ±0.0001" \n
- Review drawings, machining requirements, and manufacturing specifications \n
- Select tooling, workholding, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies for complex parts \n
- Perform first-article and in-process inspections to verify quality requirements \n
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency \n
- Support prototype, R&D, and low-volume manufacturing projects \n
- Work independently and collaboratively with engineers, technicians, and other manufacturing personnel \n
- Maintain a strong safety-first mindset while supporting a safe shop environment \n
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less-experienced machinists as needed \n

- 10+ years of machining experience, trade school training, or a combination of both \n
- Ability to independently program, set up, and operate CNC equipment \n
- Experience producing precision components to extremely tight tolerances \n
- Strong blueprint reading and machining fundamentals \n
- Ability to work with minimal supervision \n
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills \n
- Basic computer proficiency \n
- Valid driver's license \n
- Ability to pass applicable physical requirements \n
- U.S. Citizenship required \n
Preferred

- Experience with CamWorks programming software \n
- Aerospace, defense, R&D, or prototype manufacturing experience \n
- Multi-axis machining experience \n
- Experience machining titanium, Inconel, and other exotic materials \n
