  • Full patient panel available as soon as desired

  • Typical volume of 620 patients per day once ramped up

Clinical Scope

\n

Provide comprehensive endocrine care, including:

\n
    \n
  • Diabetes management
  • \n
  • Thyroid disorders
  • \n
  • Hormonal disorders and testing
  • \n
  • Osteoporosis and metabolic conditions
  • \n
  • Imaging interpretation (ultrasound/MRI)
  • \n
  • Endocrine procedures and biopsies
  • \n

Procedures

    \n
  • Ultrasound-guided thyroid nodule biopsies available at Gateway location (not required)
  • \n
  • Hormone testing and diagnostic evaluations
  • \n
  • Imaging review and interpretation
  • \n
  • Thyroid and endocrine biopsies
  • \n
\n

Call Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Very light hospital and practice call coverage
  • \n
  • Up to 10 consecutive days of call coverage
  • \n
  • Hospital call through Holmes Regional Medical Center
  • \n
  • Primarily phone-based consults and medication adjustments
  • \n
  • Rarely required to come into the hospital
  • \n
  • Common call topics include diabetes management, gestational diabetes, and non-emergent endocrine issues
  • \n
  • No frequent overnight emergencies
  • \n
  • Hospital and practice call taken simultaneously
  • \n
\n

Qualifications

\n
    \n
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Endocrinology
  • \n
  • Completion of Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship
  • \n
  • New graduates welcome
  • \n
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care
