We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across the Wirral. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners’ development while gaining valuable experience in a supportive educational environment.

You will work alongside class teachers to help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning atmosphere, supporting children both in groups and on a one-to-one basis.

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
\n
• Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils
\n
• Support children with additional learning needs (SEN experience desirable)
\n
• Help maintain a safe and positive classroom environment
\n
• Prepare classroom materials and resources
\n
• Encourage pupil participation and confidence
\n

\n
• A passion for working with children in a primary setting
\n
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or with children (preferred but not essential)
\n
• A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
\n
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
\n
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are advantageous
\n
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
