Your new companyI am currently working with an organisation based in Blackpool who are a respected and growing contractor delivering high-quality projects across the region. They pride themselves on their commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence. An opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team on a part-time, temporary basis, supporting our HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment & Quality) function.Your new roleThis is a varied and hands-on administrative position supporting the HSEQ and Operations teams. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance, maintaining accurate records, and supporting site-based safety processes across multiple projects.Key Responsibilities

- Compiling project H&S documentation for new projects - documentation includes Construction Phase Plans, fire risk assessments and RAMS documents. \n
- Compiling Safe systems of work and risk assessments for bespoke activities following site instruction and information. \n
- Print & collate H&S site files ready for each project start. \n
- Compiling and issuing of O & M Manuals for various clients, including sub-contractor certification, to allow building control sign off. \n
- Pre-qualification applications - processing, logging and approving for all sub-contractors. \n
- Issuing of permits, arranging permits and submission of H &S Docs to process permits via centre management portals - when necessary, these are project dependent. \n
- Applying & requesting Council Permits for temporary structures ie hoardings - where necessary, these are project dependent. \n
- H & S Site Inspections - updating the inspection planner log for all H&S inspections undertaken by the Advisor & Manager. \n
- Liaising with Operations Team via telephone/email for H&S requests and information. \n
- Chasing submission of Toolbox talks from the Site Foreman and updating the log of each site received. \n
- Monitoring the SHEQ mailbox with other members of H&S team. \n
- Undertake workshop H&S inspections based at head office, Blackpool \n
What you'll need to succeed

- Have previous administrative/coordination experience, ideally within construction or HSEQ environments \n
- Demonstrate strong organisational and attention-to-detail skills \n
- Be confident managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. \n
- Possess good IT skills, including Excel and document management \n
- Have excellent communication skills and a proactive approach \n
- Be able to work both independently and as part of a team \n
What you'll get in returnYou will get the opportunity to work on a temporary basis 3 days per week on an ongoing basis. You will be paid between £15.69-£19.05 per hour. Ideally, you will be able to work on Mon, Tue and Wed. However, if you need more flexibility, this will be considered. The role will commence ASAP and you will work as part of a small but experienced team. There is free parking on site and a very friendly, lively office awaits.
