SEN Teaching Assistant - Full Time Chesterfield Full Time | September starts
\nWe are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join supportive schools in Chesterfield on a full-time basis, starting in September.
\nThese rewarding roles involve supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs, helping them to engage positively with learning and reach their full potential within a safe and nurturing environment.
\nThe ideal candidate will:
\n- \n
- Have previous experience working with children or young people with SEN \n
- Hold a valid Positive Handling / Team Teach certificate \n
- Be calm, patient, and resilient \n
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff \n
- Be confident supporting children with behavioural and additional learning needs \n
- Be available for a full-time role starting immediately \n
Responsibilities include:

- Providing 1:1 and small group support \n
- Supporting pupils with emotional and behavioural needs \n
- Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities \n
- Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment \n
- Using positive behaviour management strategies effectively \n
