Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to EYFS and KS1 learners with SEN
  • \n
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • \n
  • Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
  • \n
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals
  • \n
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly
  • \n
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers
  • \n

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • \n
  • Experience teaching in EYFS/KS1 (SEN experience desirable but not essential)
  • \n
  • A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
  • \n
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • \n
  • Commitment to inclusive education and child development
