Reception Teacher (EYFS) - Part Time (4 Days)

Location: Northwich, Cheshire

Contract: Fixed Term (September 2026 – December 2026)

Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday (4 days per week)

Salary: MPS (dependent on experience)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Northwich from September 2026 through to December 2026. This is a part-time opportunity (4 days per week, Monday–Thursday), with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that supports children at the very start of their education journey.

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging EYFS lessons aligned with the national curriculum
\n
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
\n
• Monitor, assess and track pupil progress effectively
\n
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider staff
\n
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
\n
• Support the wider school ethos and contribute to school life
\n

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
\n
• Have recent experience teaching within EYFS / Reception
\n
• Demonstrate a passion for early childhood education
\n
• Be creative, adaptable, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
\n
• Have strong classroom management and communication skills
\n
• Be a team player with a proactive attitude
