Many of the young people we support may be educated other than at school, awaiting a suitable placement, or require a more flexible and individualised approach to learning.
\nThis role would suit a tutor, teacher, instructor or education professional who has strong experience working with secondary-aged pupils and is confident adapting learning to meet individual needs. The successful tutor will need to provide a calm, nurturing and flexible approach, helping young people build trust, confidence and positive engagement with education.

- Adapting sessions to suit each young person's needs, ability and emotional readiness \n
- Supporting confidence, routine and positive learning habits \n
- Working professionally with parents/carers and relevant professionals \n
- Keeping brief records of session content, attendance, engagement and progress \n
Essential requirements:

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider applicants who do not meet this requirement.
\nQualified Teacher Status would be highly desirable, particularly for referrals requiring a qualified teacher. We would also welcome applications from experienced tutors, instructors or education professionals with strong SEN and secondary subject experience.
\nApplicants must have, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS certificate and be able to provide suitable references.
\nThis is a rewarding opportunity to provide personalised support to young people who need a flexible, understanding and highly individualised approach to education.
