We are seeking a dedicated Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join the school's Inclusion Hub from September. This rewarding role involves supporting children aged 4-5 years old who are working at developmental stages between 18 months and 2 years. The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping children access learning, develop communication skills and build confidence within a safe and stimulating environment.

The role:

• Supporting children with a range of special educational needs within the Inclusion Hub.
\n
• Delivering tailored activities to meet individual developmental needs.
\n
• Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support staff.
\n
• Encouraging communication, social interaction and independence.
\n
• Assisting with personal care when required.
\n
• Creating a nurturing and engaging environment where every child feels valued and supported.
\n

What you'll need to succeed:

\n
• A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification.
\n
• Previous experience supporting children with SEN within an EYFS setting.
\n
• Experience working with children whose developmental stages differ from their chronological age.
\n
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach.
\n
• Confidence supporting children with additional needs on a one-to-one and small-group basis.
\n
• An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new DBS through Hays.
\n
