\nFull time (35 hrs/wk), permanent
\nSplit place of work between Horizons (Reading, Berkshire) and Home, with up to three days a week at home
\nSalary range £25,000 to £27,000 pa plus benefits
\nWe're looking for an Academic Operations Administrator to join our Academic Operations team and help ensure the smooth delivery of our academic programmes. You will play a vital role in ensuring programmes are delivered effectively and efficiently, supporting both academic staff and students.
\nYou will be responsible for coordinating lecturer resourcing across a range of programmes. You'll prepare and issue contracts, support onboarding activities, monitor compliance with mandatory training requirements, and help to ensure lecturers are assigned appropriately to meet operational needs.

\nYour accountabilities and responsibilities include:

- Assist with the planning and preparation of semester resourcing for the University’s academic programmes \n
- Arrange and issue contracts in liaison with the HR and Payroll team \n
- Liaise with and notify the relevant teams about the lecturer arrangements for all modules \n
Our main requirements:

- Experience within an administrative role, ideally within an educational environment \n
- Experience working across multiple teams with competing priorities \n
- Ability to work under pressure, to use initiative, and to adapt readily to changing circumstances \n
