An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to join our growing team in Loughton. This role will provide vital administrative support to the Contracts Managers, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of repairs and maintenance operations. The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive and confident managing multiple tasks while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide administrative support to Contracts Managers across various projects and contracts.
  • \n
  • Raise jobs on the internal system and ensure all relevant details are accurately recorded.
  • \n
  • Book appointments and repairs into engineers' and surveyors' diaries.
  • \n
  • Liaise with residents, clients, contractors and operatives via telephone and email.
  • \n
  • Make outbound calls to schedule works, confirm appointments and provide updates.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate records and update internal systems as required.
  • \n
  • Produce basic reports using surveyors' inspection information, with full training provided.
  • \n
  • Assist with the coordination and tracking of works to ensure deadlines and service standards are met.
  • \n
  • Support the wider team with general administrative duties and ad hoc tasks as required.
  • \n
  • Contribute to the smooth and efficient delivery of contracts through effective organisation and communication.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

    \n
  • Previous administration experience within a repairs, maintenance, construction, housing, property services or similar environment.
  • \n
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • \n
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
  • \n
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • \n
  • Confident telephone manner and excellent communication skills.
  • \n
  • Proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • \n
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • \n
  • Experience using Joblogic, Totalmobile (Connect) or MCM would be advantageous but is not essential as full training will be provided.
  • \n
  • Experience working for a local authority, housing association or similar environment would be beneficial.
