Senior Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer Flexible location - Warrington, Leicester, Bristol | Hybrid Working (3 Days in Office) £51,500-£63,500 + Outstanding Benefits Full-Time | Permanent Lead the Delivery of Safety-Critical Nuclear Projects Are you a Senior EC&I Engineer looking to take the lead on technically complex projects within one of the UK's most exciting and highly regulated industries? We're seeking an experienced Senior Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer to join a growing multidisciplinary engineering team delivering innovative solutions across major nuclear and defence programmes. You'll play a key role in designing, integrating and supporting high-integrity EC&I systems that underpin some of the UK's most critical infrastructure. The Role As a Senior EC&I Engineer, you'll provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle, from concept and detailed design through to commissioning and operational support. Your responsibilities will include: Leading the design and delivery of Electrical, Control & Instrumentation systems for safety-critical facilities Producing and reviewing technical documentation, specifications and engineering calculations Contributing to safety case documentation and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver complex projects Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers Liaising with clients, regulators, suppliers and project stakeholders Supporting installation, testing and commissioning activities where required Driving engineering best practice, continuous improvement and technical excellenceWhat We're Looking For You'll ideally have experience in: Designing and delivering EC&I systems within highly regulated industries Nuclear, defence, energy or other safety-critical environments Functional Safety standards including IEC 61508 and BS EN 61511 Control systems, instrumentation and electrical engineering design Producing engineering specifications, reports and technical documentation Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams Managing technical interfaces with clients and suppliers Solving complex engineering challenges throughout the project lifecycleQualifications Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Instrumentation or a related discipline Chartered Engineer status (or actively working towards professional registration) is desirableSecurity Clearance The successful candidate must be eligible to obtain SC Security Clearance.
