๏ธ๐ง ๐จ We're Hiring: HVAC Engineer ๐จ ๐ง๐ก๏ธ ๐ Nottingham ๐ท Competitive Salary + Excellent Benefits ๐ Monday โ Friday | Full-Time | Permanent We're looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer with a strong Building Management Systems (BMS) background to join a leading Facilities Management provider supporting a highly regulated research and technical environment. ๐ This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in maintaining critical environmental conditions that support specialist operations, ensuring mechanical and electrical building services perform safely, efficiently, and reliably. ๐ง What You'll Be Doing: ๐ก๏ธ Monitoring and maintaining critical environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity, pressure and air change rates. ๐ป Using Building Management Systems (BMS) to monitor performance, identify faults and support rapid issue resolution. &99;๏ธ Working alongside maintenance teams to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and develop effective solutions. ๐ Analysing asset performance to improve reliability, efficiency and long-term maintenance strategies. ๐ Supporting root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions to minimise future failures. ๐ ๏ธ Assisting with planned maintenance, system upgrades and asset replacement projects. ๐ Reviewing new installations and carrying out engineering calculations where required. ๐ Producing technical reports and maintaining accurate engineering documentation. ๐ค Coordinating contractors and supporting project delivery across site. ๐ฆบ Ensuring all work is completed in line with Health & Safety regulations and site procedures. ๐ท What We're Looking For: ๐ก๏ธ Strong HVAC engineering experience within Building Services or Facilities Management. ๐ป Proven experience working with Building Management Systems (BMS) and environmental controls. ๐ง Multi-skilled engineering background with strong mechanical and electrical knowledge. ๐ At least 2 years' experience in a Reliability Engineer or similar technical engineering role. ๐ Excellent understanding of planned maintenance, asset reliability and fault-finding techniques. ๐ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation. ๐ง Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to continuous improvement. ๐ฌ Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. ๐ BSc/BEng in an Engineering discipline is desirable. โญ Desirable Experience: ๐งช Previous experience within research, laboratory, pharmaceutical, healthcare or other highly regulated environments. ๐ Knowledge of statistical analysis and asset performance monitoring. ๐๏ธ Experience supporting engineering projects and contractor management. ๐ผ What's On Offer: ๐ท Competitive Salary ๐ Monday to Friday working hours โ enjoy a great work-life balance. ๐ Long-term career progression with a leading Facilities Management organisation. ๐ Ongoing training and professional development opportunities. ๐ง Opportunity to work in a technically challenging, critical engineering environment. ๐ Permanent position with excellent career prospects. ๐ก๏ธ If you're an experienced HVAC or Building Services Engineer looking to step into a Reliability Engineering role where your technical expertise will make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you
