Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 14:18
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Pay Rate: £17.27 £34.54 per hour (after 12 weeks)

\nWe are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Refuse & Recycling Drivers to join a dedicated and professional team supporting essential waste and recycling services across Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position with the potential to move into permanent employment.
\nThe Role
\nAs an HGV Class 2 Refuse & Recycling Driver, you will play a key role in keeping the city clean and supporting environmental sustainability. Working as part of a team, your responsibilities will include:

- Safely operating a Class 2 refuse and recycling vehicle. \n
- Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and reporting any defects. \n
- Assisting with the collection of waste and recycling materials. \n
- Loading and unloading recycling boxes and containers. \n
- Pushing and pulling bins weighing up to 25kg. \n
- Using mobile technology to complete operational paperwork and route information. \n
- Providing support to other service areas, including recycling and garden waste collections when required. \n
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety and customer service at all times. \n
What We're Looking For
\nTo be successful in this role, you will need:
\n- \n
- A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence. \n
- Good knowledge of driver hours, tachograph regulations and road transport legislation. \n
- A positive, reliable and flexible approach to work. \n
- The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. \n
- Good communication and teamwork skills. \n
- A reasonable level of physical fitness, with the ability to lift and manoeuvre loads up to 25kg safely. \n
- A strong commitment to health and safety. \n
