Special Needs Assistant Barnet Borough Late September Start Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant, who has worked with children with special needs? Sanza Teaching is working with a lovely primary school in East Barnet, North London, which is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant for the new academic year. The role: Working with a child who will be starting at the school from the end of September/beginning of October He has quite complex special needs needs; Autism and is non-verbal The Head is seeking an experienced SEND Assistant, ideally with PECS and Makaton experience Full time role, Monday to Friday for the academic year 8.15am - 3.45pm Salary: £95-100 per day, depending on experience You: You must have experience working in a primary school with children with special needs PECS and Makaton experience would be very welcome You should be patient, calm and adaptable As you will be working with a range of people as part of the role, you must be a good communicator and accurate record keeper.
