Site Engineer (geotechnical)

Site Engineer (Geotechnical) (Plymouth) – Fulltime An opportunity to work on our MOD project in Plymouth, delivering major redevelopment works over the coming years. PAYE basis Competitive rate depending on experience/qualifications Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays) Must Have: * HNC, HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction * CSCS White AQP Card * Experience with GPS and Total Station equipment * Experience in drilling, grouting, anchor installation, inspection and testing * Familiar with Quality Management Systems and RAMS * Good IT skills * Commercial awareness * Experience in geotechnical projects desirable * SSSTS desirable * Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance * Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years This role is site based - Monday to Friday Key Responsibilities: * Setting out works * Produce as-built drawings * Carry out quality inspections * Engineering support to site teams * Recording testing and workmanship * Maintain drawing registers and trackers * Material procurement support * Ensure SHE compliance * Support successful delivery of geotechnical works Some Benefits: Pension Training and upskilling provided Safe working environment Life Insurance Secure regular income Lodge/Digs can be available.
