Often the word ‘passionate’ is overused in job adverts but I think when it comes to teaching it is imperative. Your passion for Mathematics is going to be the difference between an engaged and disengaged class.

Thrive education are partnering with a successful Academy in Cheltenham with their recruitment of a long term Maths Teacher.

You will need to hold QTS but they are open to people from all stages in their career, a seasoned pro or up and coming superstar!

What to do next?

Alongside your unwavering passion and interest with the field you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications.

• If not qualified, then a proven history of teaching mathematics to GCSE Standard
\n
• Specialisation or experience in teaching Mathematics to Key Stages 3 and 4.
