Behaviour Mentor

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a mainstream secondary school in Redbridge. This full-time role is ideal for candidates with SEN experience, behaviour support backgrounds, or support workers looking to move into education.

Role Details:

• Location: Redbridge
\n
• Position: Behaviour Mentor
\n
• Contract: Full-time, full academic year
\n
• Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
\n

Responsibilities:

\n
• Provide 1:1 support for a student with complex emotional and academic needs
\n
• Manage and support challenging behaviour
\n
• Supervise and support the student throughout the school day
\n
• Help create a safe and positive learning environment
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Previous SEN or behaviour support experience
\n
• Experience working with challenging behaviour
\n
• Team Teach training desirable
\n
• Safeguarding training desirable (training can be provided)
\n
• Right to Work in the UK
\n
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
\n
• Two professional references
\n
